Time has went by so quickly in this class it is actually really sad. I am definitely going to miss this class!
The first day of this class, I remember how intimidated I felt by everyone else. They all were really really talented and I felt like I was not good enough to take AP art. I am so glad that I kept through with it because I got a lot of feedback from other art students saying that I grew a lot as an artist and that makes me feel a lot better about myself and my artwork.
I remember my first piece for this class was my self portrait in prisma color pencil. I didn't have much experience with using prisma color and oil paints before this class and that piece was not exactly how I planned for it to turn out but I think it was a great way for me to practice my prisma color skills. I had Art 3 with Mr. Sands so we didn't learn how to use different mediums and to apply different techniques. I wish I had gained more experience with learning different styles and skills to prepare me more for Art 4. None of my Art 3 pieces were used for my breadth and I felt like if I had the chance to learn more in Art 3 I would have felt better about choosing my breadth pieces.
So I realized that all my previous blog posts were in the wrong order. I numbered them in the order they were finished but I forgot that my concentration is everyday objects throughout time. So my pieces are suppose to go in order of what I first use in the day to the last object. This is the order of what it is suppose to look like
Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH MS. ROSSI FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE FOR OUR CLASS! You have had to deal with our annoying and loud habits and we are all grateful to have a teacher like you. You pushed us to keep trying and to work hard and I think we all are very thankful.
Thank you again for putting up with us and our nonsense! ;))))
Since this is my last blog post, I will end with this:
