First AP Art project is done! Whoop whoop!! For this project we had to find things that were reflective and that show representational imagery about ourselves. I had come up with different ideas like jewelry, bubbles, candy wrapper, sunglasses, and a picture of myself with a reflection of myself. I showed the two pictures on the top right to Ms. Rossi and she told me to go with the picture in the center. Our medium for this project was prisma colors and this was the first time I had done a big project with prismas before.
I really enjoyed this project because working with the prisma colors was really fun for me. They are so much better than colored pencils! When I was working on my drawing, I had a hard time with finding the right color for the lips. They still don't look exactly the same color as the original picture but I feel like that is as close as I am going to get it. Also my face in my drawing is a lot wider than in the actual picture which also makes it look a little different. Overall, I liked how this project looked and I enjoyed putting in the reflection in the sunglasses.
